Mentoring & coachingMentoring: For a long time, mentoring was considered as the fact of helping a person (the mentee) to develop new responsibilities by means of a person of experience (the mentor). Gradually other specialists such as coaches also propose this kind of accompaniment, which ally several techniques (coaching, training, discussion, etc.).
Coaching: The coaching in professional environment (this is different than life coaching which is a individual decision) is a tripartite approach (employer, executive, coach), registered as a contract with a duration (we know the beginning and the end), which aims at helping the executive (the coachee) to find of new relays of performance or to resolve a complex situation for its professional situation and/or for management team. The coaching is not consulting, training or psychotherapy. The approach is centred on personal skills (the person awareness's, its brakes, its fears, but also its projections, its dreams, its experience feedback) and its interactions with the coachee environment (the others, the relation and communication, the group, the organization, the cultural environment, etc.).
